NSF Graduate Research Fellow

UCLA, Chemistry/Materials Science B.S. 2018 (Advisor: Alex M. Spokoyny)

About me:

I am a PhD student in the chemistry department and my current research is on minimally invasive optogenetics. I attended the University of California Los Angeles for my undergraduate degree where I majored in chemistry/materials science and did research on polymer chemistry.

I joined the Hong lab in 2018 because I enjoy interdisciplinary research and found neurotechnology to be an exciting field where I could contribute my skills and perspective as a chemist and materials scientist in solving problems. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature and cooking.
